In 2013, with the idea of providing their sales staff with a better solution to providing product information to customers, C&L Ward approached Spud Software for a solution.
C&L Ward is continuing to grow with hundreds of thousands of products and a sales staff that is increasingly more mobile. “We knew that developing a mobile app that allowed for easy navigation was mandatory for this to be a success”, said Derek Sommer, CEO, Spud Software.
Spud devised a plan of creating a mobile app that would put the key information at the fingertips of their sales staff, further allowing them to provide presentations with key content about their products, installation methods, testimonials and more.
Because of the app’s ability to not only tell, but to show customers all that they have to offer, C&L Ward has made it a key element in their sales process since 2013.
